Paramount Centre
Satisfying both distributed and focused sound reinforcement needs
Engineering Harmonics designed a major-league sound reinforcement system for the Paramount Centre, a 5,000-seat multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex that is home of the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads and the NBA Development League’s Raptors 905 team, and host of a diverse playbill, including live music concerts, internationally-televised figure skating championships, boxing and indoor rodeos.
Two blue-line loudspeaker clusters provide steered low frequency support and playing surface coverage, while additional loudspeakers raised into the hollow scoreboard provide the necessary musical timing and imaging for figure skating and other centre-stage events such as concerts and boxing.
