Andrew Kozak

Senior Consultant & Partner

Andrew Kozak is a Partner and Senior Consultant in the Toronto Office. He has worked for Engineering Harmonics since 1995. Early projects include CIBC headquarters and regional offices across Canada, Bell Canada headquarters in Toronto, Caesars Windsor Casino, the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, Western University's new Ivey School of Business in London, and the Bank of Canada Headquarters, Ottawa. Prior to joining Engineering Harmonics Andrew owned and operated an AV integration firm specializing in enterprise AV solutions. Andrew’s current projects include Memorial University’s new joint doctorate program with University of PEI, Hydro One’s new operations center in Orillia, The Innovation Centre at Red River College, Winnipeg; Kabam headquarters in Vancouver and McGill’s Royal Victoria Hospital project which elevates the bar for AV in a university application.

Claude Bedard

Senior Consultant & Partner

Claude Bedard is a Partner, Senior Consultant and Manager of the Ottawa Office. He studied at the University of Sherbrooke and joined Engineering Harmonics in 2001. Early projects include the Committee Room Prototype and Broadcast Master Control for the House of Commons. He was also project lead for the Canadian Museum of Nature renewal and Export Development Canada’s new Ottawa headquarters. After completing his degree in electrical engineering, Claude was part of an exciting period of transition in the television broadcast systems world, first with his participation in the new “all digital” CBC Toronto Broadcast Centre, and playing key roles in the Fox Network and DirecTV Broadcast Centers in Los Angeles. Claude is the lead Multimedia Systems Design Engineer for several multi-year projects related to the relocation of the Senate of Canada, the new House of Commons Chamber and numerous Government Committee Rooms in Ottawa.

Gary Tibshirani

Project Director & Partner

Gary Tibshirani is our Project Director and a Partner at Engineering Harmonics. He is a graduate of Western University in Economics and Financial Studies. Prior to Engineering Harmonics Gary held senior-level positions with technology manufacturing and supply firms where he enabled significant growth while maintaining a customer-centric focus. Gary oversees our project teams as well as our business development. His skills as a leader and facilitator stem from the fact that he has a passion for “places for learning and entertainment” and a genuine interest in people, in their perspectives and in the dynamics of communication that define a successful team and project. Early projects include CIBC and Bell Canada Headquarters in Toronto, HSBC Bank, Bermuda, Caesars Windsor Casino and Export Development Canada, Ottawa. Gary is overseeing teams working on a wide diversity of assignments from Hydro One's New Operations Centre in Orillia, the New Toronto Courthouse, Kabam Headquarters in Vancouver and Memorial University of Newfoundland and University of PEI’s joint doctorate program.

Martin Van Dijk

Senior Consultant & Partner

Martin is a Senior Consultant, Partner and head of design at Engineering Harmonics. He studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music at an early age, then toured professionally first as a musician and then as a mix engineer developing a strong understanding of sound, recording and technical production. Martin has worked on numerous performing arts, enterprise and government projects around the world and has extensive experience leading teams on international projects including the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas and the Kauffman Center in Kansas City. He led the conceptual design for the sound, video and cinema systems for residence Antillia in Mumbai - a 27 storey $1B home. Martin is our consulting lead overseeing the Massey Hall sound and studio renovations and Scotiabank arena’s sound renovation in Toronto. Martin also led the House of Commons Chamber relocation in Ottawa – a challenging integration of sound, AV and broadcast within a glass domed structure.
